On the A3, with the yards either side

Guildford is easy for a collector: the A3 for anything coming from the Portsmouth side or from the M25 at Wisley, the A31 Hog’s Back from the west, the A281 from Cranleigh and Horsham. What Guildford sends to the yards

The driver checks photo ID and proof of address for the registered keeper, the yard pays by bank transfer within 24 hours of collection — cash for scrap has been illegal since 2013 — and the yard issues the Certificate of Destruction and tells the DVLA you are no longer the keeper.
