Between the city and the yards

The A62 through Failsworth and the A662 through Droylsden are the roads the trade uses every day, and the M60 at Hollinwood and Ashton Moss is minutes away. Short runs mean competitive prices, and the site shows the best figure from every licensed collector covering M35 or M43. That yard rings to agree a day, usually within one to three days.

Failsworth is terraces off the Oldham Road and semis towards Woodhouses; Droylsden is terraces around the centre and the Metrolink, with estate roads out towards the canal and Audenshaw. Kerbside collection is the norm; say which street and whether the car rolls, and mention a back street if that is where it is.

What comes in

Older hatchbacks and diesel family cars at the end of the MOT, private hire cars with city mileage, and cars parked up on a side street for months.
