OL2 is about as close to the trade as a postcode gets: the A663 Broadway down to Oldham and the M60, the A671 up to Rochdale, the A627(M) between them. A short run is what lets a yard pay more, and the site shows you the best figure from every licensed collector covering the district. That yard rings to agree a day, usually within one to three days.

Royton, Shaw and Crompton

Royton is terraces around the centre and semis on the newer estates towards Thornham; Shaw and Crompton climb towards the moor, with steeper streets around Crompton Fold and Heyside. The big distribution sheds at Shaw send a steady run of vans and company cars. Say which street the car is on and whether it rolls.

What comes in from OL2

Older hatchbacks and diesel family cars failed on corrosion or emissions, vans from the Shaw warehouses and the Royton units, and cars parked up for a year behind a terrace. MOT failures, non-runners and damaged cars are priced the same way as a clean car — weight, make, age, what is still fitted — with the winch included.
